On Thursday we drove down the mountain to do some errands. First stop was Horizon Accountants to drop off tax documents. Then we went to New Market for lunch. We planned to drive to Harrisonburg after that to pick out a new stove, but the weather turned nasty. Hail was bouncing off the windshield.
We decided to do some local shopping and then go home instead of going to the city. The bad weather continued for what seemed like hours. When we got home, this strip of ice was next to the garage - nowhere else, just here on the north side of the building where the sunlight doesn't reach.
