This afternoon I dropped off two boxes of unwanted things at Goodwill and then took Charlie for a brief visit to the state park. Here are three pictures and I'll publish a couple more tomorrow.

I liked the texture of the wood, but once you suggested the face, I saw it too. Great calm reflections.
ReplyDeleteThag is a good sign.
ReplyDeleteLove your "beareidolia" - such a hairy face) :D
ReplyDeleteYes, we all deserve better
ReplyDeleteUnimaginative fellow that I am, I do not see the bear’s face - and yes you deserve better.
ReplyDeleteThe bear face popped out at me even before I finished reading the paragraph. It's cute!
ReplyDelete...we all deserve better, amen!
ReplyDeleteThree interesting photos, I could see the face on the bark, your reflection photo is very nice and yes we do do to our last photo.
ReplyDeleteI could see the face on the bark and beautiful reflections.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Beautiful captures and yes it does look like a bear face. Learnt a new word today thank you!
ReplyDeleteI immediately saw a face, and once I read "bear" I saw a bear!
ReplyDeleteLearned a new thing, pareidolia. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI saw the face right away but didn't think of the bear until I read your commentary. It is interesting how we can see faces in various patterns. That second picture with the reflection was so nice. If only it hadn't been hot! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amen to that sign, crazy world and it seems to be digging deeper. Lovely reflection of the water and all great captures. I know Charlie was happy for his outing too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a bear or maybe an alien. I'd say some deserve better and others don't.
