I'm feeling all right
I'm with my boys
I'm with my troops.”

...my recall of lyrics isn't as good as yours!
ReplyDeleteYes! All the time.
ReplyDeleteMost recently it's Search and Destroy by Iggy and the Stooges:
"I'm a streetwalking cheetah with a heart full of napalm
I'm a runaway son of a nuclear A-bomb
I am the world's forgotten boy
The one who searches and destroys"
Iggy's almost 80 and still singing it on stage 53 years later.
All the time.
ReplyDeleteOh yes - and frequently at inappropriate times :) Nicely caught.
ReplyDeleteI think it is pretty much universal that song lyrics - and other oddities - pop into people’s heads. Perhaps they are triggered by cues we don’t recognize.
ReplyDeletela prmomenade s'annonce bonne et joyeuse
ReplyDeleteA very fine street shot
ReplyDeleteLove this, great capture of those boys out and about enjoying themselves. Anything with Paul Simon and I am tapping away.
ReplyDeleteI saw Paul Simon on a captured late night show the other day...with his new album. It's a very sweet sound, but not like the ones I remember and sing easily!
