Although I love the green leaves of summer, a bare tree allows me to see birds which are otherwise hidden. This tree may be dead, but it still has value to wildlife.
My birding friend was telling me about other birders who like to see the warblers early in springtime, who like highest limbs of trees. She says they have a condition sometimes called warbler's neck. I could understand.
The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.

Yes, I agree! And bare branches make great patterns :)
