I posted these pictures of great blue herons on September 8, 2005.
Over the years I continued to occasionally post photos of birds. I found a link to Wild Bird Wednesday in January 2014. I don’t know if it was my first time joining that linkup because I did not look at all my posts with birds. That particular post included this photo of a goldfinch.

ReplyDeleteWhat would our world be without birds? So much poorer. Loved your pictures. I'm outside right now, listening to a Northern cardinal, a house finch, a red-bellied woodpecker and a blue jay and a bird or two I can't identify that well.
