This book-sharing box is a new addition to the children's area at Seven Bends State Park.
This was built by Eagle Scout Joseph Kohrs. The lovely artwork was done by local artist August Hoerr.
Monday Murals / Mosaic / BlueMonday |
Eagle Scouts have done a number of projects for our local parks.
It wouldn’t be right to do a post about the park without showing pictures of the Shenandoah River, would it?
A few bonus scenes.
The mural art on the library box is exquisite
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little library, the art work is lovely. I like the views of the park too. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDelete...this library is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteWe also have a few of these mini libraries in some of the city's parks. The mural is exquisite, love the side with the deer. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Linda.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautifully decorated little library. They really were lucky to have that artist paint it. Many kids will enjoy trading books back and forth there!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely Little Library.
ReplyDeleteWe have several of these free little library book stands in and around Nashua, Linda, but none of ours are as attractive as this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your recent visit and comment on our blog as well, much appreciated and always welcome.
This book-box is really fantastic. Happy MosaicMonday
ReplyDeleteThank you so much being part at
