I’ve been blogging a long time with an average of slightly over one post a day. I should exceed 8500 posts before the end of this year. Yes, that’s a lot!
Lately, I’ve been playing with what they call “artificial intelligence,” or AI. It’s really just stuff compiled from Internet searches, and then reassembled according to rules that the developers deemed to be best practices. Images follow standard rules of composition, although they may not be factually correct.
The Picsart app now generates “new” images as well as applying filters to existing ones. I have enjoyed using their artistic filters so I decided to try their AI. Their avatar maker sounded like fun, but I’m not thrilled with the ones they made from pictures I uploaded. The app either took too many years off my age, or added a few by making wrinkles darker or hair gray. Here are the ones that I found worth downloading. The first one looks very young, but I got a kick out of the fantasy look.
That looks so much fun!
ReplyDelete...and I will stick with the real deal.

Amazing and scary at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Simple things that programs can now do (I refuse to use the term AI, since it's still created by a person.)
ReplyDeleteWow, some amazing images, I like the results.
ReplyDeleteIt is so great how you keep trying new things and learning ... and so kind of you to share what you've learned. Those are really quite amazing. I want to try it.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the midst of some challenges right now but perhaps I'll explore this later - it looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2023/08/wordy-wednesday-this-week.html
Very different.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! This AI is only at the tip of the iceberg. I hear it can even get mad at us 👀
