Shenandoah River, Front Royal, VA |
Earlier this summer I visited the Carson Trail at the end of Country Club Road. A storm had taken a tree down, which in turn took a section of fence down.
Signs remind us that dogs must be on leash and that fishing is not allowed here, at least from the banks. Also, "Smile, You're on Camera."
A golf course is adjacent to the trail and carts must share the road with larger vehicles, so drive carefully.

ReplyDeleteget a lot of that here, too, just not as many pretty split rails around here - more barbed wire and pipe. :)
ReplyDeleteNice looks at a beautiful area. Love the golfers. :)

ReplyDeleteI love those split rails. Lovely river view too and nice area for the golfers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view of the river. It's a shame the tree and the fence suffered damage from the storm.
ReplyDeleteLike the river shot, putting up fence seems to be my hobby sometimes
ReplyDeleteQuite a bit of damage from that tree fall.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, rural area.
ReplyDeleteFalling trees and fences don't go together but it happens.
