West Virginia
Walmart’s Community Mural Program has reached the town of Moorefield in rural West Virginia. My view was partly blocked by mobility carts, which were being charged. These carts are very popular, not only with disabled people, but also with folks who have lesser mobility challenges, such as sore feet or arthritis. Walmart is such a big store that many of us get tired before we’re finished shopping. I’ve never tried driving one of these carts for fear that I’d run into something.
I peered behind the carts to see the signature. The artist is H. McCullough.

The scenery near the store is still farmland.

Beautiful country mural. I had never heard of electric mobility carts in big supermarkets. I presume they get rented out, what a great idea. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Linda.
ReplyDeleteGoing to Walmart is not even on my horizon.
ReplyDeleteHere it is closest grocery store, and the only department store in town.
DeleteYour reason for not using one of these mobility carts is mine also. I have visions of not only running into people but knocking huge displays down. Made me smile so thank you :) That’s a great mural and lovely scenery.
ReplyDeleteThere are no Walmart murals that I know of here!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rural mural. Take care have a great day!
