The Plains, VA
Here are five paintings that caught my eye.
We took Charlie with us because he can’t handle staying alone. Deborah and I took turns walking him so we could each see the art.
The church was founded in 1855. Some of the tall trees around it appear to be almost that old.

Beautiful artworks, we especially like the Butterfly one🦋😺Nice church too, amazing that the trees are almost as old too. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteLove the art, the church and tree!
ReplyDeleteTake care, Happy Monday. Have a wonderful week!
I think that in some ways you have become a slave to Charlie.
ReplyDeleteTrue.
DeleteCharlie, you need to get a grip!
ReplyDeleteCharlie has a grip; he is a master strategist.
DeleteHow fun, the artwork looks great, and what a good dog mama you are for taking him along to places, he's I'm sure a hit with passersby I know I would stop and say hello to him!
ReplyDeleteYes, a woman stopped to meet him and she turned out to be one of the artists.
DeleteBeautiful art. ❤️
ReplyDeletePerfect place for the exhibit! I'm glad that the two of you could take turns walking Charlie (the most important part of the excursion of course, no matter how beautiful the art was!
ReplyDeleteI love that archway under the bell tower/steeple. It’s been a long time sine I was in The Plains. The art exhibit would definitely be my cup of tea.
