W. O. Riley Park
This was two weeks ago when the snow was melting. Now the snow is gone except for spots where it was plowed into big piles.
The wet pavement lost color in the snow and puddles, so I went ahead and converted the first picture to black and white. I also took a picture of a dry detail because I liked the shadow. I wasn’t satisfied with it, though, until I angled it and cropped it.

I love how you captured the quiet of the melting snow on the tennis court. Converting it to black and white really brings out the mood, and the way you played with the angle and crop shows a lot of care, makes the scene feel alive even without color,
ReplyDeleteGreat captured
ReplyDeleteI like those shadows in your second photo!
ReplyDeleteThese two photos show design elements which wouldn’t show as well if they weren’t monochrome.
ReplyDeleteThe snow was melting here yesterday. Since we have enough to fill the Grand Canyon twice over there is a way to go yet!
ReplyDeleteI like reflections a lot! Nice fence shadows.
ReplyDelete...looks like a puddle art gallery!
ReplyDeleteExcellent black and white ! It's been in the 80s around here. Even melting snow sounds good.
ReplyDeleteCool capture and editing!
ReplyDeleteCe n'est pas encore le moment de faire quelques échanges sur le court, mais cela permet de faire une belle image
