One evening I was sitting on a bench while Charlie rested on the grass. I took a cell phone picture of the darkening sky. The phone made the red look more intense than it really was.
When I focused on Charlie in the foreground, the camera lightened everything. The actual color of the sky was in between what you see in these photos.
Great to try tricking out a camera's best attempts!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteAmazing captures!
ReplyDeleteThe sky is memorable
ReplyDeleteThat kind of sky recalls forest fires. Scary!
ReplyDelete...red skies at night, sailors delight.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is stunning and I love the cute Charlie photo.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
That is so interesting how your phone exaggerated the red in the sky. It is neat how cameras capture things differently than our eyes see them, and it is cool that you got to see the actual color in between the two photos.
ReplyDeleteHey, hey, don't be giving away all the secrets!!
ReplyDeleteI suspect that a lot of people with cell phones have seen the difference themselves.
DeleteThe colours do look good.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
