North Fork of the Shenandoah
Skywatch / H2O Thursday |
The heatwave continues. Fortunately, I know of several shady places where I
can take Charlie for a sniffari walk. Beagles love sniffing new things and it helps tire them out.
There is a short section of trail at Seven Bends State Park that is shady and has places to rest. The shade makes the heat tolerable.
Beautiful photos in cool places!
ReplyDeleteCharlie sure enjoyed the ride!!
Have a nice day!!
Despite the heat, the greenery looks so nice
ReplyDeleteI love the scenery. The dog is cute too. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI think we all wish for this heat to go away. Everything looks lush and green, however, so the threat of wildfires is probably low.
ReplyDelete...cool and tranquil.
ReplyDeleteNice views, I like the river scene and your cute Charlie.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day and happy weekend.
Hello to Charlie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views of the river!
Wow! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteSo hot here and has to be worse for you, but that first picture looks so lush and peaceful. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful. I don't have many places like this in my neck of the woods. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty and "sniffari walk" makes me smile and I can't wait to use it when we visit any of our dog-owning kids soon. (I'll give you credit ;>)
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs.
ReplyDeletePleased you could find a shady spot.
All the best Jan
I hope you all get a reprieve from the scorching heat very soon.
