My Blogger stats say that I have 50,002 comments. That sounds like a lot but I suspect some of you have even more comments on your blogs. Anyway, I appreciate everyone who comments, except for the few spammers who are just posting ads. I don't do a thorough job at returning all the comments because I don't want to stay up past midnight typing on the computer. My eyes get tired. I imagine that those of you who blog regularly know that it can take up a lot of time, even though it is enjoyable. I thank everybody who takes the time to read and comment.

Fifty Thousand Comments
Yesterday I took Charlie to the dog park in Strasburg even though there is one closer to us. That one gets really strong winds blowing down from the mountain and across the fields, so I try to avoid it on cold windy days like yesterday. I still got really cold and did not stay very long. Charlie enjoyed it though.
Back in the warmth of the car, I drove down to the riverfront. The North Fork has flooded, covering the boat landing and part of the parking lot. The signs and posts in this picture are usually on dry land.
The large sign gives the rules for the River Walk, a mile-long trail that is near the river, but not normally under it like it is right now.

Sorry, anonymous comments cannot be accepted because of the large number of spam comments that come in that way. Also, links that are ads will be deleted.
We had a lot of rain and flooded areas too. Cute selfie with you and Charlie. I never check out my stats. Most of my commenting is early in the morning, hubby is still sleeping. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI am usually up around 5:00 am and that is when I comment on the blogs that I follow. It’s a great community and I appreciate it greatly.
ReplyDelete...I love comments too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the 50,000 comments!
ReplyDeleteWith a a blog it is almost a work life balance. But I tell myself that finding new posts and photos keeps my mind active. We have come out of a very wet spell into dry and cold. Never two days alike, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteCongrats...and I'm sure I'm among that number, since I like letting you know what I like. That selfie with Charlie is charming!
ReplyDeleteA lot of high water.
ReplyDeleteI'm falling behind in blog reading again. Got to do something about that
The Riverwalk lived up to its name. Hope your drought end doesn't turn into a flood - that seems to happen a lot nowadays. 50,000 comments! I should see my stats. I don't answer many comments, either. I should have a general "thank you for them" post. Great idea. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThat's a real nice photo of you and Charlie. Interesting photos of the flooding. We had the same weather system and had flood warnings all over our area. I think people understand about commenting. Have a great weekend.
