Shenandoah National Park

This is one of my favorite overlooks. It is especially pretty in autumn. I visited it on Monday, while the weather was still mild. When I headed back north, I drove into a light rain — or was it a cloud? Sometimes the clouds on the mountain are just foggy but other times they actually rain on you.
The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.

ReplyDeleteIt is incredibly beautiful. I think I could park a chair there and settle in for the day. There would surely be hawks soaring over those ridges. I’ll let you know so that you can deliver mid morning coffee!
