Front Royal has a number of boat landings on the Shenandoah River. This one is at Riverton, which was once a separate town. Routes 340 and 522 cross both forks of the river together on “twin bridges.”
You live in a very beautiful area - but you already know that. Let’s all hope that the wildfires that affect more regions of the continent each year don’t strike there.
