Shenandoah National Park
Don’t worry; the drop off is not as steep as it looks. You can step down and walk around in the grass.
The speed limit in the park is 35 miles an hour or less. Not only are there many curves, but often there is wildlife that walks out into the road.
Clever Charlie, where there’s a will, there’s a way. Not good for safety though. Great photos of Skyline Drive and I loved the ones of the deer. We are hoping to go up there this week coming up.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteCharlie will miss those car rides, he is so cute. Love the Skyline Drive and deer images! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and happy new week. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
I think the only way to confine Charlie's movements is to glue him to the seat!
ReplyDelete...walls were built for a reason, stay off.
ReplyDeleteCute shots of critters!
ReplyDeleteOh dear Charlie! What a clever little guy! Love that you captured the deer, who seemed just as interested in you!
ReplyDeleteWe have to be careful here for deer and bear crossing the roads. Charlie sure is a cute little fellow!
ReplyDeleteHello Linda :=)
ReplyDeleteLovely view, and the deer are lovely too. Charlie is so handsome, but doesn't want to be confined. He probably would prefer to be in the front seat with you.
Enjoy your Sunday
All the best.
Belas fotografias, gostei de ver.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom Domingo.

Charlie!
ReplyDeleteThe deer are a lovely sight.
It must be frustrating that Charlie is so independent and wiggly! I remember those walls that were set back from the actual drop-off, presumably to protect people (who should know better than Charlie what’s good for them).
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
maybe charlie just needs a good talking too, i'm sure he wants to continue with his rides!! my husband's name is charles and one teacher wrote on his report card, when he was a little guy, that he was a wiggle worm. maybe it's the name. beautiful deer, i always enjoy seeing them!!
