Harrisonburg, VA
Although I really like viewing murals, it has become a challenge to find a new one for Monday.Murals every week. After an appointment in Harrisonburg, I used my phone to search for a new mural in that town, and what do you know? This one came up.
I probably would not have seen it if I had not read the description. It is behind a shop in what we call “Auto Row” due to the concentration of car dealers there. The store is New Creation, and it helps support an organization that assists victims of human trafficking.
Glad you found your mural. The lettering really stands out with the flower background. A worthy organization!
ReplyDelete...we need more changers.
ReplyDeleteI think you can find anything by using your phone!
ReplyDeleteLove the name and the shop's purpose.
ReplyDeleteSo many towns are encouraging special murals that relate to history or culture of that place. Street art is really in a Renaissance, and it’s fun that you manage to find them so often.

Excellent find. And no cars parked in front of it...one special happenstance.
ReplyDeleteGreat colour.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the burial site now has a marker with more information. Lots of each graveyards in the country were lost through the years.
ReplyDeletePleased you found this mural ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I like it when murals are created for a worthy cause. How nice you found this one. You have a good app on your phone, Linda.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I got a "Failed to Publish."
I tried to leave a comment last week and kept getting Failed to Publish. I honestly tried.
