I can’t look at a sunflower and not think of what the Ukrainian people are going through right now. I have always loved the sunflower but see them in a different light. Yours are beautiful and I like your portrait mode photos very much.

It is quite sad that, as is the nature of the news cycle these days, Ukraine is no longer the top story on most newscasts, yet the destruction of the country and its people continues. Having watched the January 6 hearing yesterday, I was sickened by Trump and his sycophants. Clearly Trump has the potential to be a Putin and I shudder to think that he could be re-elected.
