So this happened...
Signs / Skywatch |
My "Check engine" light came on. Lynn told me that certain auto parts stores would diagnose the problem for free! I went to the closest one and they showed me how to use their diagnostic device and then they analyzed the code. I needed new oxygen sensors but they did not have them in stock. We discussed where I should get the car repaired and they gave me a number for a local mechanic. I called him and made an appointment.
Gostei.

Glad it all worked out well.
ReplyDeleteThat was fortunate! We got similar help from an auto parts store in Chattanooga years ago - they really were helpful. Just don't complain! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDelete...that is a common problem.
ReplyDeleteI"m glad you got your car repaired!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent advice which worked for repair! I wonder if they are source of parts for that mechanic!
ReplyDeleteIt's good that all went well with you, and that you just paid a considerable amount to have it done.
ReplyDeleteGood that everything worked out.
ReplyDeleteSo nice you can find places to read the code for free, and you found a good mechanic. I love that sign!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the education. I didn't know what to do should that happen to me. I'd probably just call the husband.
