The black and white snapshot is one I took oh my parents several decades ago. I came across it the other day.
In the same folder I found a picture I took of my reflection in New York City, probably in the same year.
Today I took a snapshot of some roses in the grocery store. Merchants have stocked up for Valentine's Day. Flowers are pretty but often overpriced due to the demand. Some people give candy but I don't welcome it because I don't do well with most of it, although there are some dark chocolate covered nuts (milk-free) that I eat, but they are no longer sold in stores around here. (I buy them online.)

...I have few if any old pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you for these beautiful roses. I don’t buy flowers very often because they are pricy. Wishing you Happy Valentine’s Day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, and a nice memory of your parents !
ReplyDeleteWe do not now, nor ever have, celebrated these various events, so the merchants will not profit from us. Happy Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteA great trio of photos...the parents, your own reflection and roses bundled up, probably from South America, waiting for someone (male perhaps) to purchase for a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers, Linda.
ReplyDeleteAll are lovely photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I like going through old photos. Great reflection!
