I have an old poinsettia that is huge. When we got it several years ago it was red, and I kept it and eventually put it in a much larger pot. It continued to grow but since I did not give it a vacation in a cool dark room, the leaves became green. I like it that way.
Beautiful when the leaves turned red. The flowers though tiny are very pretty. I had one before. In our warm weather, the leaves never turned red. I can't remember what happened to it.

I think the color of poinsettia changes to red occasionally when the season comes otherwise it remains green for the most part of the year. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
