This morning I saw a cormorant beside the lake. They don't come here very often. I think they stop at the lake to catch some fish on their way to seasonal quarters.
A hummingbird occasionally visits my feeder, his little wings beating furiously.

ReplyDeleteThose cormorants are probably heading to Oregon for the summer; we have tons of them here and in Florida in the winter (I'm pretty sure they arent the same ones). Beautiful picture of the hummer!
