A Few Page County Sights.

Page County lies between the Blue Ridge and the Massanutten Range.

Here we see a church in the town of Shenandoah. It is the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. The church was organized around 1895.  Like many buildings in that area, it was built of red brick. Brick was manufactured locally, as was iron and lumber.

I was not able to get a satisfactory picture of the entire building because there are utility poles and wires right in front. I wish every historic district would put their lines underground, but I'm sure the concerns of photographers are not high on the town's priority list.
