...it's interesting that graffiti has been around for ages. I guess that it started with cavemen. Thanks Linda for sharing this bit of history, enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThe portrait of Gen. Burnside by a prisoner (Confederate) is pretty amazing - whether it looks like him or not. Also amazing that it has survived over 150 years.

Fascinating. Amazing to think that it has been so well preserved, especially with all the brouhaha about tearing down Civil War monuments.
