Last week I was waiting in the car as Frank shopped at Dollar General in Berryville and my eyes fell on a surprising sight across the street. An alley had a number of murals painted on the walls. I walked over to take a look.
They are sadly obscured by utility boxes, trash cans, and overgrown plants. I wonder if the brick building was once an art center. There are other murals in Berryville. It is the county seat of Clarke County, Virginia.
