Garden Week Beauty

1. Historic Garden Week in Virginia offers many tours, and some are on the same day. There are tickets to buy too, so I chose carefully. I picked two that I knew would be spectacular: Washington and Warrenton. Both towns are rich in history and have some spectacular homes.
Skywatch Friday and Weekend Reflections.

2. A little pond with sculpture works well in black and white, because it has shape for a simple composition plus it has contrast.

3. A lush flowering bush draws the eye.

Sharing with Friday Bliss and Floral Friday.

4. Visitors are asked to not take pictures inside the homes, but outdoors is usually okay.

5. Garden Club members created the flower arrangements.  I paused a moment to take a picture of this one, even though the shuttle bus was waiting. This location was only available to tour by bus because the road to it was a narrow and bumpy one up a small mountain.

Have a lovely weekend!
