The Good: Although today was wet and cold, I have recent memories of warm days before the leaves began to fall.
Sharing with The Barn Collective and Mosaic Monday. |
The Random: Restaurants seem to come and go in Strasburg. There's now one serving Guatemalan cuisine and they have a tropical mural.
Monday Murals. |
The Fun: I enjoy educational tours. Here are a few more pictures of the October 27th seminar in Martinsburg with the McCormick Civil War Institute. (See yesterday's post.)
Thank you, PhotoCollage and the Noyalas Family. |
...that one weathered barn must have stories to tell. Restaurants seem to come and go everywhere, it's a tough business. Thanks Linda for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteNever had Guatemalan food. The mural is nice Linda.
ReplyDeleteEducational tours are always great.
A tempting island scene! Is that mural painted on the wall -- or is it a photo/reproduction that's applied like wall paper? It looks too slick to be done in place, but maybe there's a really good painter that the restaurant owner knows?
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I think it's a giant photo.
DeleteHello, the tropical mural looks beautiful. I would like to visit there. Neat old barn. Enjoy your day, have a great new week!
ReplyDeleteThe tour in Martinsville sounds interesting...but what a crowd! Glad you got to attend, and maybe learn something new.
ReplyDeleteIt is wet and cold here too, Linda.
ReplyDeleteSeems as if most new restaurants come into a place where the last restaurant didn't make it... AND--then in a few months or so, the new restaurant is gone... There just seems to be certain areas where NO restaurant can succeed... Wonder why?????
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy
