Even though I've got my new camera operational, I'm using cell phone pictures today for Willy Nilly Friday and some other linkups.
1. These orange and yellow tulips are blooming in my front yard.

2. These daffodils were blooming in front of the barn at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.
3. Today is the 19th anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre, and many people demonstrated for safer schools. These young people were in front of the courthouse in Woodstock today with letters that spell out "Never Again."
4. I saw this pretty sky the other day near Middletown .
The mill dates to 1848 but the restaurant just opened in January.
Interesting post.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. Can't believe it's been 10 years since Columbine and kids are still dying by guns.
ReplyDelete...flowers are so hopeful and these young folks also give me hope. I hope that they continue the fight. Thanks Linda for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteGood to see what other's phone cameras can capture. I've become very lazy at toting the Nikon these days.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful flowers and the wide, spreading sky, but thanks especially for mentioning the response today's young people are having to the Columbine massacre, which still makes me shudder, and every massacre since then. We watched TV coverage of the protests and were thrilled with the sizes and numbers of the crowds. I'm far from young, but I hope to live long enough to see these younger, wiser heads prevail.

Our flowers are really delayed this spring! An interesting variety of pics!
ReplyDeleteNice collection of images. My favorites are the tulips and those clouds in the sky.
ReplyDeleteOur daffodils in the Binghamton area of upstate New York have suddenly sprung into bloom in the last three days, and I saw a flowering tree today. Instant spring (considering it was snowing last week). Love those orange tulips. Tulips, to me, are spring. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
