A Mennonite Church and a Couple of Farms
Park View Mennonite Church is in the western part of Harrisonburg, not far from Eastern Mennonite University. It also serves a Korean congregation.
Harrisonburg is called "The Friendly City" and reports that 55 languages are spoken in city schools in addition to English.
The city is surrounded by green farm land. The two farm photos here were taken east of the city.

...Harrisonburg sounds like a great place! The last barn with the hills in the background is my favorite. Thanks Linda for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNice looking place. I always think that grain silos and barns combine in the same way as church and steeple.

For some reason, expecting a Mennonite church to look way different than the Methodist church down the street :]
ReplyDeleteHello, lovely views of the church and farms. I love the third photo, very pretty. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and new week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful barns! Love Virginia countryside always!
ReplyDeleteThe church is beautiful and well captured. I can't imagine how the teachers deal with so many languages.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is a beautiful church!
