The Good: I saw this pretty tree swallow at Blandy Experimental Farm and kept my camera on him for several minutes hoping to catch him in flight. It wasn't until I reviewed the pictures later that I saw that I didn't miss him.'

The Random: We've had a lot of rain lately. This slope on Skyline Drive is normally dry or slightly damp from a tiny spring on the mountain, but here it has a mini-waterfall.
The Fun: A couple of our neighbors are fishing in the community lake. They drove over on their lawn tractor.

ReplyDeleteI have a lot of tree swallows in my bluebird homes in one area
ReplyDeleteGreat bird-in-flight photo!
ReplyDeletePretty lake!
That's a pretty bird. The lawn tractor ride made me smile. If it is a long walk there, I might be tempted to do the same. Ha! :)
ReplyDeleteThe waterfall's a lovely sight. We see that in the spring- temporary waterfalls that pretty much dry up by the end of June.
ReplyDeleteImagem linda dos pássaros, bela cachoeira, deve ser bom cortar a grama assim! bj
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to catch birds in flight like that. Love the little waterfall.
ReplyDeleteSorry, a late reply, you must have linked last minute - good I checked:):) Beautiful nature, Linda! Also read your post below about Eric Burke - incredible skill, but I think I would have chosen another kind of image, since it is SO LARGE.
