Years ago, my teacher in a college photojournalism class noticed that my landscapes often include some manmade feature. He suggested I make that the theme for my portfolio that semester, which I did.
Although I really love the natural world, I believe landscapes are often more interesting if a touch of human influence is visible. Also interesting: landscapes with animals. I love animals!

Your landscape photos are fantastic and that was some good advice that was given to you. You live in such a beautiful area and we all benefit from it when yo share your images.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteIt does make things interesting.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty fence shots. I did make a correction on the post you told me. I most always double check but I was in a hurry to get that one up and missed it.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely examples, Linda!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think man-made features and animals both can add a point of interest to landscape shots. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI have a collection of fence shots. The older the better!
ReplyDeleteWhat are those man-made features in the first shot? I'm not sure I've seen anything like them. Good photos!
ReplyDeleteI don't know. It's next to a grist mill. Maybe I'll ask when I go back.
DeleteI love these photo's ...
