The Cathedral Shrine of the Transfiguration
Consecrated in 1925, this sanctuary built of of local stone is still used for worship services when weather permits. It is part of Shrine Mont, a summer camp and conference center owned by the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia.
There are more pictures of this charming place and the surrounding area under my Orkney Springs posts.
