Squirrels, Squirrels, Squirrels!

gray squirrelI have way too many pictures I've never posted and most of them never will be used. I hate to just delete them as long as they show something interesting. Sure, they are on my backup drive, but they are not organized there, so they may as well be lost.

Now I have "Cloud" space (free with Amazon Prime) and I am organizing some extra pictures and moving them there. Last week I moved over 100 squirrel images to the "cloud." (Okay, "cloud" is just a name for storage space via the internet, but I'll use the term while it's trendy.)

Some of these images seemed like something you'd like to see, so I set these files aside to share before deleting.

Soon I'll stop feeding the birds because the spring weather brings wandering bears through our yard, and they have destroyed my bird feeders a couple of times. I won't see so many squirrels during the warm months because it's bird seed that attracts them. Once the bears go into their dens for the winter, I'll bring out the feeders again.

See this post for a picture of our bear!

  1. The squirrels are too cute. I have all my photos on an external harddrive. I've tried to label them to make it easier to search for anything I want.

  2. Those little acrobats can get into almost anything, can't they. Fun pictures. I especially like the third photo.

  5. Your squirrels are super cute. I'm glad I don't have to worry about bears so I'm able to still feed and see the squirrels around here.

  8. Loved the photos Linda and am glad you shared them before deleting. I will also stop filling the bird feeders soon as I lose feeders to the raccoons, not to bears :)

  10. Cute shots of the squirrels. It's too bad you have to bring in your feeders!

  11. Oh I do like squirrels! My kids got very excited when they saw their first ones in the UK a couple of years ago.
