Good, Random, Fun... and a Bit Uncomfortable!

The Good: It's almost spring! Temperatures are nice this week, and the animals are showing signs of spring behavior. The ducks and geese have been fighting and flirting, getting ready to mate and nest and raise families. (Yes, he's biting her neck. He did that over and over. A true form of necking, I suppose.)

The Random: I spotted garage doors with murals painted on them, so of course I pulled over and took a couple of pictures for Monday Murals. But wait a minute!

Tonight when I enlarged the above picture on my computer, I noticed there was a figure in the window. Let's look closer.

Oh, shoot! Someone was watching me take pictures! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude!

Looks a little ghostly, doesn't it? Is that a mask? Is that a straight jacket? Or is it the artist with a beard, noticing that someone has stopped to admire his work? Oh, I hope so...

I may never stop to look at someone's house again! Okay, that's not realistic.

The Fun: On a lighter note, there's new play equipment at Eastham Park. I saw children enjoying it, but I avoided taking their picture for fear of freaking out their parents... and that was before I saw the picture I just described.

Have a good week!

  1. I bet Mystery Man was proud you stopped to take a picture. Even more so if he actually painted the mural. Folk art in the truest sense of the phrase. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.n

  5. That's so funny, you were being watched ... I kind of figure if people are going to have pretty houses and gardens (and especially murals) they are just asking for me to photograph them. So far, I haven't been chased away (or worse).
You got some great ones! I'm very glad he didn't try to stop you!

  6. The garage door murals are beautiful, even if the 'ghostly' figure in the window gave you a scare.

  7. You have better fortune when considering someone is watching you work. /about all we see here are metal eagles screwed on the door.

  8. The guy in the window reminds me of Hannibal Lecter. Don't accept any invites to dinner from people you've not met before.

  9. Cool garage doors and I was going to say I liked the ghost shot but William gave me the creeps!
