It had been a long time since I took a photo class, and when I saw that a photography workshop was offered at Frank's favorite garden, it looked like an opportunity for both of us. This was sponsored by the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley and took place in the lovely gardens of Glen Burnie next to the museum.It was mid-October and flowers were still blooming. I imagine most of them have succumbed to frost since then.
The program turned out to be very informal, with the instructor answering questions that came up.
I learned how to use aperture priority on my Canon. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day and since this was a late-afternoon event, the light got dim pretty quickly.
