It's the season for county fairs and today we toured the Warren County Fair near Front Royal. The weather was cool for August because of recent rain.
We walked 1.6 miles through the fair. (Yes, I have an app to tell me that.) It would be more fun if we had kids along.

Fun shots of the fair!
ReplyDeleteFairs are definitely more fun with kids, but I have to say I loved your photos. So many happy memories evoked. The orange panda bear reminds me of my father winning a teddy bear at our local fair when I was a child. He spent far more that the price of the bear before he was able to win a second one, so that my sister and I would each have one.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun carnival. They make the rounds of volunteer fire depts here. The kiddies would love the rides. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteNice shots...country fair season is kicking off this weekend up here in Connecticut's Quiet Corner too.
ReplyDeleteI'm reminded of the fall fairs we had in the nearest town when I was growing up. Here in Ontario they tend to do these in September and October instead of summer.
ReplyDeleteFun photos! I miss having young kids to take to the fair.
ReplyDeleteNice photos. We haven't been to any fairs recently since our boys are grown up and out of the house now.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous fair shots, it's that time of year♪
ReplyDeleteYour lovely collection of images nicely captured the essence of a fair.
ReplyDeleteFairs can be such fun. The grandchildren visited one recently and had a great time.
