It's National Bird Day
I'm sharing this post with three blog linkups, starting with The Bird D'Pot. I think it's good to feed the birds in cold weather like we're having right now, and it benefits me by bring pretty creatures into camera range.
Unrelated to birds is this random picture of a poinsettia. I wasn't planning on buying a live one but I saw this on sale on the day before Christmas and I couldn't resist. I'm sharing this photo on Today's Flowers.
The third photo shows a fun event, lunch on Saturday with Peggy and Bill. We met at a restaurant in Rippon and afterward Frank and I drove to nearby Charles Town to see local art at the Visitor Center and drive through the historic district. It was rainy but the town has interesting history and some intriguing architecture.
The third linkup/blog hop for this post is Good, Random, and Fun.
Those birds look quite curious!

I like that the red color seeps through all of your images in this post.

ReplyDeleteWe grew up with numerous bird feeders to keep the birds fed in the winter - I loved that part of our yard!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up.
Cute little birds! I love the poinsettias too, but it's been many years since I had one for Christmas. They don't seem to like me. :-)
