Our View in Mid-January


The days are getting longer. I took these pictures around 5 PM, and a month ago it was already dark at that time.

If you look carefully, you can see geese taking off. (You can see a larger version of the photo by clicking on it first.)  Canada Geese squawk before they fly off so that gives me a few seconds to point my camera at them.

    Very nice, I saw a huge flock taking off the other day that took 20 minutes for all to take flight

    The geese do a lot of honking as they come into the pond behind my daughter's house. Glad for longer days. :)
