Winchester, Virginia
Like some other cities, Winchester closed off a street to vehicle traffic to provide pedestrians an inviting place to stroll, shop, and dine. Winchester is in the northern part of the Shenandoah Valley about 75 miles from Washington, DC.
Here we see the First Presbyterian Church of Winchester.

I love the red brick in these shots. The church, tower and the closed of street are pretty. Have a happy day!

Thank you for posting these pictures of Winchester. My husband has fond memories of Winchester and the diverse apple orchards, of 40 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI think churches located to where people are, are the best places to drop by for a short visit even at the middle of a hectic day. Very nice shot.
