We used to have a house near the Roy Rogers Apple Valley Inn. It was in the California desert near where a lot of his show was filmed. We stopped in to the Roy Rogers Museum in Apple Valley a few times and he came out and talked to the kids. We were impressed, but the kids were clueless.
The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.

ReplyDeleteInteresting composition with strong verticals and a diagonal line from the wind-blown flag down to the restaurant, which looks nice and homey.
ReplyDeleteNice shot of Americana. :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sunset shot.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there were restaurants in his name. Nothing like that, as far as I know, north of the border.
