My sister and her beau came over on New Years Day and we went out to dinner. The flash did not fire on my little point-and-shoot camera, and as you can see, the lights gave off green and yellow tints.
I changed one image to black and white in Photoshop. Then I saw the single picture that Bill took (shown below) and the colors look great! Sometimes a flash is better than ambient light.
In any case, we had a nice visit. The best thing about the holidays is getting together with special people.

Thank you for the beautiful heart with imprint!!!
ReplyDeleteI try not to use flash, makes the background flare too much
ReplyDeleteI never have much success with indoor photography and the flash always results in harsh tones. I like the b&w image. Glad you had fun time with loved ones.
ReplyDeleteNothing like starting a new year out with good friends and family. I enjoyed looking back thru your blog at the many picture of your beautiful valley. Wonderful.....:)
ReplyDeleteTime with family is indeed the best part about the holidays. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is much better in colors and everything than the last one, to my mind :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still experimenting with indoor pics here and there. Sometimes it requires second shots.
ReplyDeleteOr third shots.
Or seventh shots.
These are good ones!
Love all shots. Happy New Year!
