The lake is not really "ours," it belongs to the community. But we feast our eyes on it so much we tend to think of it as "our lake."
In the distance we see our mountains — I mean the Massanutten Mountains. They are mostly part of George Washington National Forest, so if you come to Virginia you can hike on the mountain trails.
sure is pretty. you can claim it if you want. :)
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for autumn to arrive here, but I sure do enjoy seeing your photos of fall.
ReplyDeleteI don't see anyone else claiming it - so therefore it MUST be yours!! Great pics!!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you would claim this spot, it is beautiful. I really like the second photo.
ReplyDeleteI would call the lake (and mountains) my own too if I lived there. Pretty shots!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have your own lake. It would be great to have one this close to home. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you like to visit the lake so often. The sight is truly breathtaking.
