A Herald of Spring

I saw these daffodils in Front Royal yesterday. They were growing near a wall, which must shelter them from cold winds.

  4. I love daffodils. The are my favorite flower ever. Probably because after a hard winter, they are the first flower I see.

    Mine are up a couple of inches... Poor things are going to freeze.

  11. My daffodils are just peaking out of the snow at about 4 inches tall. I am enjoying paging through your blog and especially liked the geese landing on the frozen pond without harm. Your images of the local churches and history is of the area is interesting. Thanks for sharing your part of the world.
