Our cocker spaniel looks sleek with his short haircut. He doesn't like being groomed so we let him go a long time between haircuts, but it does make housekeeping easier. When his coat is long, I find dog hair in dust-bunny clumps all over the place.
Ah, that might be a good way to approach it. I sometimes brush his hair, usually outdoors and usually for under 20 minutes. And same thing for trimming his hair with scissors. Indoors his attention span is much shorter, and of course the hair flies around so cleanup is a pain.
The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.

Bless him, he looks so peaceful .
ReplyDeleteWe do 20 min grooming sessions, as Missy isn't too fond, either! :) xx
