Benny Gets Groomed

It was well over a year since we'd had Benny groomed. He pretty much freaks out when the clippers get close to him, and hates having his paws touched. Although I've been trimming his hair with scissors, his feet were unkempt and some hair under his chest had gotten matted. So this week I too him to the groomer's and Janet made him pretty again. She charges us extra though because he's so hard to work with. Last time she commented that he was the most difficult dog she'd groomed in years!

At least this time he was calm when I picked him up. Last time he was nervous about being touched for several days afterward. I'd like to think that the time I've spent trimming him is paying off.
