North River with Ducks

Bridgewater, VA

The first picture looks a little odd until you realize that our viewpoint is above the dam looking downriver. The horizontal line that ends the bright smooth water is the top of the dam.

The North River joins another river at Port Republic to form the Shenandoah's South Fork.
