Last night we attended the Lions Club Gala at Woodstock's Fort Valley Nursery Pavilion. The "Shenandoah Swing" band sounded great and many couples enjoyed dancing to their music.
Frank was one of the organizers of this event. He came up with the idea as the chair of fundraising for the Basye Bryce Mountain Lions Club and served on the committee that planned the dance.
It looks like they raised close to a thousand dollars, and many people had fun, so I'd say the event was a success.
