CDP Theme: Out of Focus

On the first of each month, City Daily Photo members participate in a theme, and November's is "Out of Focus." This is a challenging one for me, because although I have plenty of blurry shots, I don't like them well enough to post them. This is a recent one that I took near Browntown. I had my camera set for a close-up shot of our dashboard map and forgot to turn the dial back to Auto.
Let's just call it impressionistic.

  1. Good choice for the theme and impressionistic is a great description!

  2. I actually really like this shot! I always hate it when I shoot an image and it ends up out of focus because I've forgotten to do something silly like putting the camera back on automatic focus after shooting a shot using manual. All you need to do now is use one of those "paint" filters in photoshop and you'll have yourself an awesome artsy image! :) It already looks almost like a watercolor to me…

  8. You wouldn't believe how many photos I have taken that would qualify for this challenge. None as Monet-ish or as pretty as yours.
