Lucky Shots and the Usual Critters

I took my iPad out on the deck the other evening planning to snap a picture of the clouds to share on Facebook. I heard geese honking in the distance and aimed the lens in their direction. I got three shots before they disappeared into the shadows and landed on the lake.

I cropped two images to bring the geese closer. If you still can't see them, click on a picture for a larger version.

Here's a picture of Canada Geese from June when their offspring were still youngsters.

Finally, here's my helper Flash, who loyally keeps an eye on me as I write my blog.

We hope you are having a good weekend!

  1. Hello Linda!:) So beautiful!:) Without the geese, your views over the lake, with the wonderful cloud formation in the sky, and reflections in the water would have been gorgeous in itself, but with the geese, it's perfection. Lovely photo of Flash,..he has such gentle eyes.

  9. Great shots of the geese - I can just imagine their honking as they flew overhead. I've been noticing several "V" formations of geese here lately as well.
